Birthday Party

We celebrated my birthday in two ways, a surprise trip to Charleston (pics coming later) and a birthday dinner with college friends. It was so fun to get together and chill like the old days of hanging out in the dorms with no cares for at least a couple of hours. Thanks to all my sweet friends that joined us!


Mary made a cake from Kim and Mary. If you look really closely you can see their names in the swirls. It was pretty impressive...and yummy!


I tried a recipe for Luscious Four-Layer Pumpkin Cake...and it was so good too.


The guys were banished to the living room to play Settlers of Catan


Sweet Samson seemed to be having fun too!
