Scary Sounds

Last night after church we were sitting in our house. Our house with lots of crazy events such as bats, mass numbers of carpenter bees, and the occasional strange event. Steven was ironing and I was on the computer when I heard this really LOUD sound. We went outside to see what it was and check the mail but as we went to the mailbox it was louder and scarier so Steven went over to the landlord's house next door to see if he knew what it was. It sounded like the storm sirens were broadcasting a loud staticky sound and it was so loud it made my ears hurt. He and Steven went to investigate and found a gas leak down the road. Someone had hit the gas pipe with a four wheeler and disappeared. Thankfully the gas company had already been called and they came out and took care of it. Who knew a little pipe could cause so much noise? Our house is never a loss for strange adventures...
